Sharing Success

As a hockey official in the NHL my eyes are a very important part of my job. Calling off-sides, icings sometimes can be spilt second decisions and very close calls happen all the time. When I was approached to consider laser surgery as an alternative to glasses and contacts I was a little skeptical at first. I am sure glad I made the choice to get it done. The results from my laser surgery at TLC London were better than I expected. I just wish I should have did it sooner. I had been wearing glasses and contacts since the age of twelve. My contacts kept shifting in my eyes and I would lose focus constantly. The endless cleaning, maintenance and cost of my contacts was exhaustive to say the least. Unfortunately, I couldn't function very efficiently without them. Driving a car, reading, playing sports, and of course working couldn't be done without the aid of glasses or contacts. TLC changed all that and I have never looked back since. Thanks TLC London for giving me a new look and letting me see things in a better way.

As an National Hockey League Referee for the past 11 years, having good vision is a crucial part of my job. I wore glasses and contacts for over 20 years and believed they would always be a part of my life.

I do a lot of air travel with my profession and wearing contacts on air planes proved to be uncomfortable, as they would dry out quickly. Now I travel in total comfort for my eyes. No more dryness, no more blurred vision. It is a dream come true and my only regret is that I did not have the procedure much sooner.

Your health is the most important thing in life, and having good vision is a big part of your health. Thanks to TLC, I have that vision and good health. Both of my daughters wear glasses and I've already told them, that as soon as they are old enough they can have surgery. They can't wait.
